TRANSPORTATION
Panama City’s Tocumen International Airport is easily accessible via direct flights from major North American cities such as Miami, Orlando, Chicago, Newark, New York (JFK), Washington D.C. (Dulles), Houston, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Toronto; European cities such as Madrid and Amsterdam; and South American cities such as Sao Paolo, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Lima, etc. The major airlines who service Panama are COPA/Continental, American, Delta, TACA, Iberia and KLM.
Once in Panama City, guests can get to Islas Secas Resort through a regularly scheduled charter flight direct to the resort (1 hour, 25 minutes) OR by taking a domestic flight from Panama City to the city of David (1 hour). From David guests are driven to the coast (1 hour) where they depart by boat to the resort (45 minutes).
CHARTER FLIGHT
Arriving at Islas Secas
A direct charter from Tocumen Airport to Islas Secas, with either Air Panama or My Flight Corp, is scheduled every Sunday at noon to transport guests from Panama City direct to Islas Secas. Once our guests arrive in Panama’s Tocumen International Airport they are greeted at the gate and receive personalized assistance with their immigration and customs procedures. A driver will transport guests to another terminal where they will board the charter aircraft for the flight to Islas Secas. If an overnight stay is required in Panama City upon arrival our driver will take you from Tocumen Airport to your hotel and pick you up the next morning and take you to Albrook Airport (domestic travel) to board the plane.
Departing Islas Secas
The charter flight will depart Islas Secas around 1:30 pm every Sunday and arrive at Tocumen International Airport around 3:00 pm and then on to Albrook Airport for a 3:30 pm arrival. If an overnight stay is required in Panama City, our driver will take you from Albrook Airport to your hotel.

TRANSFER SERVICE
Once our guests arrive in Panama they are greeted at the gate and receive personalized assistance with their immigration and customs procedures. A driver will await you in the Arrivals Hall and transport you to either a hotel of your choice in Panama City or directly to Albrook Airport (domestic travel) for the flight to David and then take the car and boat service mentioned above to the resort. There are two airlines who offer domestic flights to David three times per day (2 morning flights and one evening flight).
Round trip rates from Panama City to David are generally in the $200 range round trip per person. Below are the links to the company’s websites.

Depending on the arrival time of your international flight and the departure of your domestic flight you may have to spend the night in either Panama City or David and can either choose:
OPTION 1 – OVERNIGHT IN PANAMA CITY
Transportation from Tocumen International Airport to a hotel of your choice in Panama City. The next morning a driver will pick you up at the hotel and transport you to Albrook Airport (domestic travel) where you will board the 1-hour long flight to David. After arriving in David you will be greeted by a driver who will transport you to the small town of Boca Chica (1-hour long drive) where the Islas Secas Resort boat Captain will meet you and either take you directly to the resort (45 minute boat ride).
If you choose to take the early morning flight (approximately 6:30 a.m. but schedules may vary) to David and arrive at Islas Secas Resort by 10:00 a.m. or take the second flight (approximately 9:30 a.m. but schedules may vary) and arrive at Islas Secas Resort by 1:00 p.m.
We will also provide ground transportation in both Panama City and David for the return leg of your trip.
OPTION 2 – OVERNIGHT IN DAVID
Transportation from Tocumen International Airport to Albrook Airport (domestic travel) and take evening flight to David. Spend the night at Hotel Ciudad de David (www.hotelciudaddedavid.com). The next morning you may will be picked up (at a time determined by you) by our driver driver who will transport you to the small town of Boca Chica (1-hour long drive) where the Islas Secas Resort boat Captain will meet you and either take you directly to the resort (45 minute boat ride).
We will also provide ground transportation in both Panama City and David for the return leg of your trip.
